Senegal is a country of 12 million inhabitants. Large consumer of fashion, yet the country saw its garment and spinning industry collapse then disappear almost completely today in 2012. Nevertheless the informal sector of garment production grew considerably with an increased consumption of local clothing and the multiplication of micro garment factories.
