Innovation from Africa: Mobile Money in Kenya (Language: German)
Through „Mobile Banking“ and the principle of „Banking the Unbanked“ the wider population of Kenya has for the first time the possibility to securely transfer money and to take part in an economic circuit beyond informal economy and without territorial boundaries. What kind of impact has especially „Mobile Banking“, what can be accomplished and what chances and risks does it imply?
