Dr. Kwest mixes eclectic electronic hip hop soul with anything that fits with it. Of Congolese descent but raised and based in Belgium, he is a musical innovator who spoils his fans with regular mixes on mixcloud and produces instrumental music which is hard to define. Dr. Kwest is a mysterious character created by Kalonji (his former artist name as rapper). Influenced by Sun Ra and many others, he started sampling in 2006 and has released several Beat Tapes and remixes. He hosts also a radio show on Radio Panik in Brussels and is the founder of Futuristik Soul Collective.
